Welcome to the MELMAC TRADING PAGE. If you have Melmac items for trade, or are looking for something specific, send me an e-mail and I'll add it to the classifieds. (Adds may be edited and/or purged, as web space is limited). Be sure to include your ad, name, and full e-mail address. If your ad is no longer relevant, let me know and I'll remove it. This trading page is provided as a service to the hobby; I don't know all of the people who post ads, so use it at your own risk. As allows, be cautious when making deals with strangers!

Please consider joining our MelmacDinnerware discussion list, founded March 20, 1999. Discussions on all things Melmac; what more is there? Read the description, and, if interested, sign up.

This discussion list is for people interested in all types of plastic dinnerware. While most of the discussions will probably focus on Melmac from 1945-1965, this list will not exclude any dinnerware made from other plastics. This includes either the thermosetting or thermoplastic plastics, natural or synthetic plastics, or any dinnerware made under any of the trade names such as Melmac (the most commonly used trade name, it is used to refer to a majority of plastic dinnerware, much the same as Kleenex is used to describe tissues), Catalin Melamine, Plaskon Melamine, or Resimene. It can also include polystyrene, polyethylene, vinyl, phenolic, cellulose, protein, chemical, etc., or any of the many basic plastics that have found their way into dinnerware. If your interests include collecting Melmac, licensed dishes, Beetleware, cut Glastic, or designs by foreign (other than USA) melamine dinnerware manufacturers, researching designers, or collecting paper ephemera, then this is the discussion list for you. List members may post messages seeking information about plastic dinnerware, items wanted or for sale or trade, but the list is primarily for discussion, not Wanted Lists, sales, or trade proposals. If you post Wanted Lists, items for sale, or items you have available for trade, please try to post some information about them that users may find educational. It may generate a discussion!
